My day in London at the 3rd Annual Bloggers Bash Awards #BloggersBash2017 #SundayBlogShare

I had an amazing day yesterday at the Annual Bloggers Bash Awards in London! I was very nervous about going (as everyone can tell if they’ve watched the videos taken by Hugh throughout the day!) but I had a great time meeting lots of friendly and supportive bloggers! And even more exciting news is that I came 2nd in The Hidden Gem category!

It was the category with the largest number of nominations so I was overwhelmed to be up there with Kate Noble at The Quiet Knitter and Gordon Mcghie at Grab This Book If you want to see the full list of the days winners then you can click Here.

A huge thanks to the Bloggers Bash committee for all their hard work and to everyone who voted for me. I do have some fabulously supportive followers and I really can’t thank you all enough.

I didn’t take many photos on the day as I was too busy people watching and making the most of time spent with friends. But I would like to give a special mention to the lovely Alexina Golding over at Bookstormer for keeping me on the straight and narrow all day and guiding this country girl around the city of London (although she failed to monitor my gin consumption towards the end leading to a a slightly tipsy me on the train home!!!)

And for anyone who missed out on the fun yesterday, make sure you make a note in your diary as the next ABBA has already been announced for 9th June 2018!

      2. I would love to say I was a child bride but unfortunately not!! I think running around after my 4 grandchildren everyday is keeping me young 😂😂😂 not to mention permanently exhausted. How I have time to blog daily is always a complete mystery to me!
Let me know how it goes convincing the committee about The Maldives 😂😂 xx

      1. It was mostly Hugh and Geoff and Sacha who did the work. I just helped a bit, I was overwhelmed by my studies this year. See you next year!!! 😀
