Seaside! I live in the countryside and love it but I was born by the sea and miss it every single day.

I have my gorgeous little cavapoo called Darcy. I love cavalier king Charles spaniels but I wouldn’t have another one after losing my last one Oscar when he was only 9 due to a heart problem.

7 – Do you have a favourite author?

Agatha Christie is still my favourite

8 – If you could meet any author, who would it be and what would be the first question you would ask them?

I get very tongue tied when meeting authors so whoever it is would probably look at me like I’m the village idiot! I would love to meet Jilly Cooper and just talk about dogs!

It’s a little Italian restaurant in the village where I live called Don Albertos

I am a Norfolk girl living in leafy Cheshire with my grumpy Scotsman. A mum and nana who lives for my family but who is also addicted to reading (and Marmite!) I will read almost anything but my preferred genres to review are psychological thrillers, crime procedural novels or women's fiction. My kindle is my life but I also have a substantial bookshelf in my cosy reading room where I can go to escape the stresses of family life with plenty of tea and chocolate. I am a member of netgalley and bookbridg. I review on Amazon, where I'm a Top 500 reviewer, and Goodreads. You can always find me over on Twitter @jocatrobertson for any review requests.

  1. Haha, loved your answers! I want to taste your lasagna! You gave me my new word of the day, I did not know what a jacket potato was. I’m not a sporty person either, except for yoga. xx

    1. My lasagne is amazing! Everyone asks for it for birthday dinners. I used to do yoga but it gave me terrible migraine headaches so had to stop. Jacket potatoes are lovely, I like them with prawns on top or cottage cheese. xx

  2. I well up just thinking about the end of Toy Story 3. In fact, I started getting upset in the bit when they’re sliding towards the incinerator and all hold hands… I can’t believe your grandchildren laugh at you! They’ll learn! 😉

Thank you for nominating me 🙂 xx

  3. I took my granddaughter to see Toy Story 3 at the cinema when it came out and she was the one sobbing broken-heartedly – and went on crying on the train home…

    1. I get more emotional the older I get! And yes he is probably the only famous person to come from our small village apart from some footballer I’ve never heard of lol (I would have paid more attention if it was David Beckham I think!!!) x
